Women Building Rwanda — Documentary Photography

Rwanda’s development story is often told through statistics and policy. Through Women Building Rwanda, I turned the lens on a group rarely seen in that narrative: women working on construction sites across the country — carrying materials, laying bricks, and physically shaping Rwanda’s transformation.
This documentary photography project is an intimate look at labor, resilience, and identity in contemporary Rwanda.
